The Artists:
The Artist name is Gregg Lambton. He is the one who did the body art, as well as captured the picture itself; final edits for the original piece.
Jason Farlow created the different shapes, colors, and designs that layer overtop the artwork, which gives the piece its vibrant texture
The Model herself, and the center piece off the work is Brennan Taylor Baylis.
About the art:
This artwork is the center piece for The Last Real Circus, and their new EP being released later this year "11:11”
Having gone through their own changes as a band, this artwork was chosen to show the many layers of not only the bands sound ( a mixture of Americana, Indie, Rock, Folk, Blues and alternative),
but because of the main changes we all go through as a human species. 11:11 is a master number and shows spiritual awakening in ones self.
It's a sign from the universe that you are on track and what you are manifesting into your own world, is on its way.
Sometimes it feels like the world has got you wrap up tight in its grip, and the air is being sucked right out of you like a snake around your neck; But you’ve got to laugh it off. Life is funny.
what we find over time, is that we are just “shedding our skin” in order to keep becoming the people we are suppose to be.
The Artist here has used real body paint to cover the model in snake skin like camouflage to match the Brazilian Rainbow Boa wrapped around her body symbolizing all the reasons above.
