Arts for All
As a key part of Gallery5’s mission to engage diverse communities through accessible programming, Gallery5 curates and facilitates four regular visual and performing arts events hosted at the Gallery that are open to the public at no cost — Gallery5’s Arts for All.
Arts for All programs and events often include markets and performances that extend to the space outside the gallery and into the surrounding streets — truly connecting Gallery5 programming to our neighborhood. They are curated in collaboration with community stakeholders including artists, performers, community-based organizations, and small businesses.
Arts for All Programs
Free, mission-driven, art and music on the first Friday of every month, coinciding with the Richmond Arts District’s First Fridays art walk. Each month highlights different artists and themes, and seasonally features partners like Richmond Moon Market and PLF.

Fourth Friday Jazz Night highlights the history and preserves the culture of historic Jackson Ward, by ensuring the presence of jazz every month in the neighborhood that brought the art form to Richmond. Jazz Night is free, and offers optional fee-based VIP tables to help support the musicians.
