This is a Kingfisher and the rain in Tortuguero National Park in Costa Rica. This tiny bird weighs about as much as a light bulb. The bird and I were both getting soaked, in that moment it sure felt like we had at least that in common. Maybe that’s why it let me get up as close as I could to snap this picture. No matter how big or small, occasionally we all must weather a storm.
