Growing up in the hills of Virginia, I am fascinated by the vastness of the west. I like the sense of movement in this photo, as well as the slightly ominous sky. This was taken in Marfa, a small town in West Texas with unique light which provides a sharp contrast between the sky and the ground, divided by a lonely line of barren trees.
