Au Fromage: With a unique combination of old swing stylings and modern flare, Au Fromage is Richmond’s newest and hottest swing band. Valentin Prince (Guitar) and Stu Kindle (Ukulele) are having the time of their lives and it shows in their performance, cultivating a light hearted and fun atmosphere that makes for a delightful evening of music.

Peni Candra Rini: PhD (b. 1983) is a renowned Javanese singer, composer, and faculty member at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts. Raised in an artistic family in a small fishing village in East Java, Peni first began studying voice at the age of 5 under her father, a village shadow master. She later moved to the Central Javanese town of Solo to study at the Indonesian National Conservatory of the Arts, where she completed her doctorate and was hired as faculty in 2020. She is a master of several traditional forms and is regarded as one of Indonesia’s most daring young composers, one of only a handful of female composers in the majority Muslim nation. She is a former recipient of grants from the Asian Cultural Council, is a two-time grantee of the US State Department’s One Beat Program and in 2022 was named an Aga Khan Foundation laureate of the arts. She is currently completing a suite of four compositions commissioned by the Kronos string quartet. She will be performing new and traditional music with members of Rumput, Gamelan Raga Kusuma, and Curt Sydnor. 

Curt Sydnor: has been creating on the fringes of Richmond's music scene since 2019, producing a recorded output that Style Weekly called "generous and wide-ranging." In April 2023 Classical Revolution RVA premiered his chamber symphony The Fall of Richmond for an overflow crowd at Gallery 5. In late 2022 he received a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts to complete his next album, Air Ride Equipped. This will be Sydnor's third release to feature the interplay of vocalist Laura Ann Singh, drummer Scott Clark, and bassist Adam Hopkins, recorded and co-produced by Richmond music great Lance Koehler.
