Colin Phils (now on POST. RECORDINGS)
"This week we find Colin Phils in fine form, strutting with their newest single ‘Frenemies’ off the upcoming Trust/Fall, replete with twangy staccato guitar loops, soothing vocal harmonies and luscious textures. Fans of Delta Sleep, Enemies and Colour will not be disappointed with this gorgeous surge of interwoven math rock and indie. Math rock’s great jetsetters are back in full form."

Colin Phils’ sound has been described as part math-rock, part indie-rock, with catchy hooks and harmonies throughout. Colin Phils has played throughout South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and the USA. Colin Phils is now based in Richmond, Virginia and has been performing as a 3 piece ensemble. The band offers complex instrumental music (guitar loops, synth lines, and intricate drumming) along with vocals filled with harmonies.

Night Idea
Night Idea a band whose obsession with odd time signatures, slowly building momentum and simple, chanted vocals make for a serendipitous take on orchestral indie rock. It’s a unique, playful approach to progressively weirder indie rock that is written to awaken and surprise the listener at every turn.

Dumb Waiter
"Satan asked
'Would you rather...
A. run on Dunkin'
B. own Dunkin' franchise
c. start Dumb Waiter'"
We responded with "D....Mr. Satan....D...all of the above!"
Calvin Presents
Calvin Brown is an accomplished jazz pianist and singer-songwriter. A native of Richmond, VA, Calvin was a child prodigy who was awarded a full-scholarship to complete his Bachelors of Arts at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. As a professional musician, he has thrilled audiences around the world, playing an array of musical styles. However, his musical restlessness still can’t be contained or ignored.
As an artist, Calvin’s original music, performed by his dynamic seven-piece band, deftly synthesizes the best of his roots in jazz and gospel music with neo-soul, hip-hop, alt rock—and even trap music—forging a relentlessly adventurous and soulful live experience. “Music is a place for me to be free,” says Calvin, “its a place where I don’t have to have all of the answers. I just have to feel and be as honest as I can.”
