“Where Richmond Music Lives”
The Auricular is a publication and platform dedicated exclusively to music from Richmond, Virginia. Launched in 2018, their goal is to champion Richmond musicians, connect audiences with local talent, and make it easy to explore and enjoy everything the central Virginia music ecosystem has to offer.
E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation was formed in 1975 as E. Rhodes Carpenter Foundation by E. Rhodes Carpenter, founder of the Richmond, Virginia based company now known as Carpenter Co. The Foundation received significant funding following his death in 1980. His wife, Leona B. Carpenter, died a year later leaving substantial assets to the Foundation. In 1982, the name of the Foundation was changed to E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation.

The Virginia Commission for the Arts is the state agency dedicated to investing in the arts of Virginia. Through allocations made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts and the General Assembly, the VCA utilizes investments to empower arts leaders, arts educators, and arts practitioners.
