Mother India is the first ever Indian art show at Gallery5. The Sept 6th First Friday event will celebrate all things Indian art with an awesome program of classical and contemporary art and music. The works of Indian artists will be on display in our gallery room. This includes paintings, photos, crafts, and more! In our performance room we'll have live classical Indian music from a variety of local and international performers. Come experience carnatic singing accompanied by the mridangam drum. There will also be a performance of classical Indian music on tabla and harmonium with singing. We'll have the Prabir trio providing Indian inspired rock and roll music and to close out the night we're pumped to host a BOLLYWOOD DANCE PARTY w DJ Carlito!!
