GallowLily’s
 
Named after Lily Madison, a woman murdered in the 1800’s and who’s trial caused the unfortunate execution of an innocent man, this unique craft boutique has been a notable part of Richmond’s history and is the actual gallows responsible for this untimely death. These gallows are one of Richmond’s oldest hanging sites and has been an area of interest for ghost hunters and paranormal activity.
 
GallowLily’s focuses on our local craft makers and has recently opened a new gallery dedicated to craft-based exhibitions.

Drawing, painting, printmaking, textile works, video and photography are some of the mediums that I work in and I'm always in the process of learning something new. If you're interested in purchasing art, please look at the "For Sale/ETSY" section, or contact me if you'd like to commission any work. I always like to hear from folks and love to trade things in the mail. If you wildcraft medicinal plants or seaweeds, have some kefir grains to spare (or any other thing that you might worth trading), please get in touch! Also, if you happen to know of a beekeeper in the NYC area that might be interested in having an apprentice, I'd love to meet someone I could learn from.” P.S.
